Kent Ecology is an independent ecological consultancy specialising in botanical surveys and the provision of habitat management advice. The business is based in Kent but operates across the neighbouring south east counties of England. The consultancy has extensive experience of carrying out UK Hab Surveys and Biodiversity Net gain condition assessments.

The service offered is based on over twenty five years of professional experience in ecology and conservation, drawn from working in the public, private and voluntary sectors.  The consultancy can offer substantial expertise in wildlife law and planning policy. Expertise gained in specialist roles undertaking protected species work and designated site condition monitoring, offers clients a useful perspective on how their application will be viewed and assessed by the statutory agencies and the local authority. Having spent many years screening planning applications and their supporting ecological surveys, licence applications and the ecology chapters of Environmental Impact Assessments, we are well placed to know what the regulators are looking for from an applicant.
